Effi Apartments - Platanias (Crete)

We didn't want to leave and will come back. Everything here felt PERFECT, it was a perfect stay on a vacation. It was unbeatable in the very center of Platanias. We loved how really helpful and excellent the staff was.

Everything is what i need and want. It exceeded all expectations.

The hospitality at this place was off the charts! Everyone from the staff to the owners made us feel right at home. the apartment itself was spacious, clean, and stylish with a nice balcony and a sea view. Plus, the direct access to the beach was such a bonus - we literally just walked a few steps and we were there! the location was great, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. It was super convenient to explore the area without a car.

Everything was just perfect and exceeded our expectations. the only thing we regret is not staying longer.

The apartment was fairly clean and in magnificent location so close to Crete and Platanias and the sea. Location in the area. Helpful staff. Even though we didn't like the bed, it was too hard, we had an amazing stay...

Try Melina Restaurant, which is next to the apartment and you will certainly enjoy their food. We appreciated our holiday here. Near the beaches.

We had an very nice stay at Effi Apartments! The value for money was excellent and the room wassuper clean and cozy. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the center and the beach. Effi and her mother treated us like family, making us feel right at home.

The breakfast option could be improved with more variety.

The host was super cool and made sure we had an awesome time. From arranging a taxi pickup to hooking us up with snacks and water, she had us covered. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Platanias with lots of cool restaurants and bars nearby. Plus, the beach was just a few steps away and perfect for some chill vibes.

The only thing we wished for was a livelier nightlife scene. We had a blast during the day, but it would've been even cooler if there were more happening parties or clubs for us young party-goers.

From the mind-blowing sea view to the jaw-dropping hospitality, our stay was absolutely incredible. The staff, including Effi and her Mama, were super friendly and always went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The renovated apartment was beautiful, with modern amenities like Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and air conditioning. We loved being just steps away from the beach and enjoyed the peaceful sound of the waves at night. Effi and her mother gave us great recommendations for beaches and restaurants, and even lent us a sun umbrella for our island adventures. The optional breakfast menu was delicious and worth every penny. The intimate garden and daily room cleaning added to the overall experience. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to the center and taverns. We also fell in love with Casper, the friendliest dog ever. The free parking, electric kettle, and well-equipped kitchen made our stay even more convenient. We can't wait to come back to this amazing place. Thank you!

Effi Apartments was a great little place! I really liked how cozy and charming the decoration was. The general areas of the hotel were well maintained and had a lovely atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible with easy navigation and no stairs to climb. It was perfect for me to relax and enjoy my vacation.

The only thing that could have been better for a vacation for senior people was the noise in the morning. I understand that the cleaners need to do their job, but it would have been nice to have a "do not disturb" sign to avoid being woken up.

Effi's dog, Casper, was an absolute delight. the WiFi worked perfectly on the lovely terrace where we spent most of our time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
